While dubbed “Little Island,” New York City’s newest park is a great place to get lost in. Located on the Hudson River between Pier 53 and Pier 57, the entire park is connected via a path of paved long, winding path making it fully travable™ for all visitors.

“Little Island is ADA compliant and all areas are accessible using our pathways,” the park’s website states. “The majority of our pathways are paved, but you will encounter dirt when you enter The Glade and grass if you choose to enter the lawns.”

This is true – our readers should have no issue traversing the park and for that reason, we highly recommend making Little Island a place for a nature break amidst the concrete jungle.
